Give Google Feedback
I am a Google fan. Despite Senator Conroy of the Ministry for Portals criticising Google whilst at the same time potentially illegally spying on Australians, I admire Google both for its future vision and past achievements. A while back I suggested to Google that it would be nice to be able to filter results based on age and there must have been enough other similar requests because that option is now there. Today (Saturday 3 July) I had a new suggestion (that probably many other people have also already made): that it would be nice on Google maps to be able to see (when available) previous versions of photos/maps (perhaps selectable, or perhaps overlaid to see the difference) of an area. When I went to submit it I couldn't find the page under contacts or FAQ so I googled "give google feedback" and I couldn't get any results! I tried different combinations and double checked their contacts page in case I missed it. Nup. Out of curiosity I then tried Bing and hit the mother-load (sixteen and a half million!) of results. Yahoo was similar. Now, like I said, I'm a Google fan, so I'm not about to change my search engine over this; but really, Google, what is going on? Monday 5 July
Tried today and Google returned 29,500,000 results. Maybe they turn it off on weekends?
